The Culinary Destination of the Year

The Martinique Promotion Bureau is delighted to announce that Martinique was named Culinary Destination of the Year in the 2020 edition of the Caribbean Travel Awards, an annual selection of the best the region has to offer by the editorial staff and writers of Caribbean Journal.

The island was recognized for its exceptional food found across an exciting dining scene that ranges from Michelin-quality hotspots in Fort-de-France to laid-back beachfront eateries near Saint-Pierre and Le Carbet. “It’s a place where quality food and beverage is pervasive, whether you’re at a chicken shack on the side of the road or eating foie gras and banana on the beach,” reports the Caribbean Journal staff.
