In this month of November, Martinique Tourism Authority organized its first event, Martinique Sensation, at the X hotel in Toronto.
A precursor of the opening of the new route from Toronto to Fort-de-France, which will begin on December 16, 2023, Martinique Sensation has brought a taste of the destination directly to Toronto. This event has been a showcase for professional tourism in the Toronto region, and 15 Martinique professionals (hoteliers, tour operators, accommodations, and car rental companies) have made the special trip to meet Canadians.
Martinique Sensation brought together around a hundred tourism professionals, specialist media, and travel agents. After a presentation of the destination and the season’s new features, a workshop session gave everyone a chance to meet, exchange ideas, and open up new opportunities.
Martinique Sensation was a great success and promises to be a fruitful collaboration.
