Martinique in the spotlight at the 2019 CTO Travel Media Awards

Two feature articles about Martinique were honored at the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Travel Media Awards in New York City on June 6, an event that recognizes the best representation of the Caribbean by journalists, photographers, broadcasters, and publishers. Christopher Muther was awarded Best Feature Article in a U.S.-Based Consumer Newspaper for his piece “How Martinique’s rum became certifiably the best in the Caribbean,” published in the Boston Globe. For “The Martinique Mystique,” published in Travel + Leisure, Tony Perrottet won the award for Best Feature Article in a U.S.-Based Consumer Magazine, along with the “Best of the Best” prize.
